Inspirations

A 14th century cottage lives another season poised between past and present

350 sq m divided on three levels: the attic-master bedroom is over 50 sq m, with a big bathroom in which the enormous bathtub stands out. On the first floor there is the kitchen, enriched with pink Brazilian marble, that opens up to the living room. Here you clearly understand the desire of living in a wide, but at the same time, comfortable open space. The bright and clear rooms are characterized by false ceilings in chestnut beams.

Ideas of living

The warmth of this oak floor is the perfect solution for a rustic.

In this case they chose an oak-floor: Rifugio from Boschi di Fiemme Collection. The boards of different widths, pigmented with walnut colour give a sense of movement, while the hand-planed surface recreates a unique seasoned effect. The dark colouring doesn’t stop the shadings from bringing out the true characteristics of wood.
