The interiors are essential, but steeped in thoughts and passion that coexist mixing their souls

This former attic had been transformed into a professional studio, until the owners decided to move and live there. First of all they changed the furniture, that was created piece by piece by the interior designer Dario Pretto. It was made of elements created in order to define spaces and to take advantage of every single one of them in the best way possible. Only afterwards the open space has been divided into smaller ones by actual walls. But first of all, the most firm choice was to get wood-floors.

Ideas of living

For twenty years I had been living in a house with wood-floors, including in the bathroom and kitchen – the owner explains –. A material that I strongly wanted, at a time when the installers themselves seemed skeptical. I still had no idea of which wood I would want for our renovation though.

Until, there it was: Dolcerivo from the Luci di Fiemme collection and it was love at first sight. An instinctive decision after one visit in Val di Fiemme. That bright oak - from a rosy to a hazelnut colour, that stored a sort of everlasting warmth - became the base of our intense and detailed project. Minimal, but warm and cosy at the same time. Deeply human, so clean and biocompatible.
