In Cavalese, among Fiemme Valley woods, a hotel with strong historic roots is reborn from wood
Upon arrival, Cavalese provokes an emotional reaction. Before Cermis ski-area, surrounded by woods and at the centre of the town the living memories of a thousand-year history. We are in a special place, a masterpiece made by man and nature, existing in perfect balance and union. This is the spirit that Paolo, the owner of the Hotel La Roccia, wanted to highlight and the spirit he wants to welcome his guests with.
The historic building is going through a full renovation project beginning with the spa and suites. The spa has been expanded, reaching 1200 square metres, with the Infinity pool overlooking the Dolomites, providing a panoramic view from the Cermis Mountain to the Pala group.
The floors of the spa are Fiemme Tremila, enhancing the union between this wellness space and the surrounding nature. Even from the suites there is an incredible view over Fiemme Valley, the Dolomites and the woods of the Magnifica Comunità. And the wood continues indoors. The furniture is made by artisans from Fiemme Valley, using spruce and Swiss pine from the nearby. On the floor we find Sanmartino from the Echi di Fiemme collection, where the larch takes on candid and rarefied tones, in perfect harmony with the stones on the walls and the local wood furniture. The Sanmartino larch is a constant, even in the bathrooms and around the large tub that dominates the stone recesses.
