For those who love a clean and uniform texture, the knots may seem a defect. For those who want the purity of form, instead, they represent the maximum expression of the beauty and naturalness of wood. Whatever preference you have, Fiemme Tremila's craftsmen are ready to select and work each piece strictly by hand, according to your wishes, to make it truly the floor of your life.
Knot-Free
The most neutral selection of Fiemme Tremila from an aesthetic point of view. As far as possible, and depending on the woody variety, we select the most homogeneous and uniform knot-free boards.
Knotty
This selection includes boards with sound knots but they are never too rustic. Usually, and depending on the wood species, there are also big knots but well-repaired with brown plaster.
Variegated
The most natural selection of Fiemme Tremila. In this variant, all the peculiarities that nature can give to the wood can be present – knots, even of big dimensions, cracks, colours, stains that are its predominant features. Plaster reparations are black. Possible traces of sapwood.
Unique
The wood, thanks to the features and availability of the raw material, cannot be selected, therefore it is not possible to have any variation and we have to rely only on what nature gives us.
