The house with a seamless floor.

Who is Fabio Vaccarono? Everyone knows he is the CEO of Manzoni S.p.A., Gruppo Espresso, the last accomplishment of an impressive career (he’s only 40 years old). Since 2002, he’s been at the top of some of Italy’s most prominent publishing groups. Perhaps a few people know he is a knowledgeable consumer concerned about sustainability and his and his family's health. To dispel any doubts, sustainability is not an abstract concept to him. He could discuss it at length, with a rare expertise and competence.
«Cladding is the core element of a house. I’ve extensively researched the subject. The aim was to find a live, biodegradable, easily disposable material with very low natural radioactivity—as healthy as possible. I was looking for industrial expertise with a craftsman’s spirit to count on modern characteristics, usability, durability, and sturdiness. After a while, I found this company in Val di Fiemme and immediately felt on the same wavelength with their philosophy and way of working,» he explained.

Engineer Kirn observed: «We have worked beautifully with the floating floor, laid on a sound-absorbing cardboard underlay and natural yellow cork panels, to ensure acoustic comfort. The client followed every step of the way, from the building project to its creation». A deep analysis of technical data sheets of all used materials – ecological mortars, plasters, glazes, paints and stuccoes – has allowed us to reach an important goal: create perfect spaces suitable both for living and photography. «A home is made by the happiness of its residents», concluded Kim, quoting Gio Ponti. «And in the wood aroma you perceive when crossing its threshold».

Antique and modern merge harmoniously, thanks to colour contrast and the refined selection of materials. A wide space where the mind can open to new ideas and inspirations. The pastel tones and delicate nuances of beechwood – extra-wide boards especially made for the client - become pleasant notes of calmness and well-being.
