Back to the past
Designed by arch. Luciano FalciniTensa, Ossola valley, Italy
Tensa is a really small town in Ossola valley, a territory that stands out for direct and silent beauty. A path in the woods is the only way to reach this place. No one had lived there for over 40 years, until Luciano Falcini and his partner came by to bring Tensa back to life, making an agritourism out of it.
The keywords of this project are simplicity and tradition.
Larch and stone, natural materials, wake up the authenticity sense of this ancient hamlet. The warmth of the antiqued larch floor is a strong presence in every room. This rustic essence with healthy knots is the perfect bridge between the reborn town and the national parc “Val Grande”, the largest wild area of Alps.
