In its headquarters in Val di Fiemme, the new La Sportiva showroom combines the aesthetic harmony of wood with solutions that make work enjoyable while respecting brand identity.

There is no doubt that an amazed "wow" is the first reaction of the clients when they enter the La Sportiva showroom in its headquarters in Ziano di Fiemme. Everyone is left speechless before the wide 600 square metres attic of the building, next to the production area. Lorenzo Delladio, CEO and president of the brand, says: «We needed a location with great impact, that could immediately recall the link with the brand, suited to invite clients, meet suppliers and organise in-house workshops or meetings. We wanted a space that evoked the same strong emotions we infuse in our products». Mountain is their "yellow" tread, the brand's colour, interpreted with an elegant design, demanding for comfort and cosy scenarios. The project, with flexible yet complex functions, was designed by Studio aledolci&co, respecting the deadline of only five months. The ample open space on two levels joins the existing volumes in the attic. The largest one was intended for exhibitions and as a meeting room, the other as a reception area and small product "museum".

Ideas of living

The mountain outside the large glass wall creates the feeling of being in the woods of Val di Fiemme, and again, the mountains weave into the DNA of the company, which this year celebrates its 90th anniversary since its foundation. The story is "carved in the stone wall", which is artificial and dedicated to technical shoes that are placed in chronological order and tell La Sportiva's passion and evolution. A four-generation-long history began in 1928 with the creation of handmade leather boots for the valley's woodcutters by Narciso Delladio.

Wood evokes the inseparable link between mountain and nature, a vital bond for companies established and operating in the Fiemme Valley, such as La Sportiva and Fiemme Tremila, expressed in the shared values of caring for people and the environment. Respiro from the Boschi di Fiemme collection was chosen for all the floors and some furniture pieces.
