Fuoriserie - BottegaA Franciscan structure, a house that only has room for essential elements.
The structure recalls the Franciscan style, with a striking cloister that surprises guests as soon as they climb the steps to the 18th-century building’s entrance. The seven French windows overlooking the large terrace complete the picture. They underline the sequential layout of the rooms, each with its own source of natural light. The apartment and the building were renovated in 2007. It is the east part of the first floor, which was used by noblemen, with one hundred square metres of outdoor space.
The living and the sleeping spaces seamlessly blend with the wide terrace, thanks to the layout of the large wood boards following the same direction both inside and outside. In addition, the warm finishes throughout the house make it feel cosy and welcoming. The first step was studying the layout and arrangement of the 200-square-metre space: a big living area and two sleeping areas. The first part hosts the rooms for the three children, and the final section is dedicated to a main suite. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
The house is dominated by a minimalist taste while respecting the desire for quality elements. Extreme strictness and cleanliness followed the choice of using only two refined yet modern materials, such as ash wood and plaster. The 200-metre floor in Ash wood, a colour specially made by Fiemme Tremila for the owner, continues on cladding and panelling. This choice helped to visually expand even the smallest rooms.
