A design apartment overlooking Lake Lugano
Within the historic Parco Nocc, a four-hectare park on the Collina d’Oro in Gentilino, overlooking the western part of the Lugano Gulf with a 360° view of the lake, city and mountains. Here, a residential design complex was created: the project combines elements of contemporary architecture with a mix of shapes and harmonies balancing with the landscape which houses the building.
The idea was to give to this decidedly contemporary house a warm and welcoming atmosphere, using natural and relaxing colours. That is why the Fiemme Tremila wood floors were the perfect choice. In fact, they provide unmatched housing comfort. Walking, playing, living on real wood is a feeling impossible to experience on other materials.
Volto from the Mani di Fiemme collection was chosen, lined with a random staggered pattern. With its shade between cashmere and light dusty pink, it tells a story of elegance, gives a relaxing feeling at first sight, and blends perfectly with the colour schemes of the house. The beige sofa and chairs, the chocolate kitchen island, the ivory panelling and the rosy table fit harmoniously with the floor. Wood runs seamlessly throughout the house, becoming a visual signature at every step and every glance. The light coming from the large windows plays with wood, creating different shades at every hour and every season.
