We are fortunate to live in Val di Fiemme, a place that gives us so much, and we feel a responsibility to give back.
That’s why we created the AcquaBosco project.
This is a concrete initiative to care for the Avisio and Travignolo streams, which flow near our production site in Predazzo, in Val di Fiemme.
With AcquaBosco, we commit to directly supporting the management and regular maintenance of the riparian vegetation along these waterways. These interventions are essential to ensure hydraulic safety in the area, prevent erosion and bridge blockages, and at the same time protect the environmental balance of the landscape around us.
We chose to do this by entrusting the work to a specialised forestry company, using a selective, careful and respectful approach: a measured form of stewardship that takes into account local biodiversity, riverbank stabilisation, the protection of smaller wildlife, and optimal conditions for the life of fish populations.
We know that these activities—coordinated by the Mountain Basin Service of the Province of Trento—cannot always be carried out consistently due to multiple priorities and limited human resources. That is why we felt it was our duty to do our part.
As a Benefit Corporation, we believe sustainability cannot be merely a statement of intent, but a daily practice—made of tangible actions and coherent choices.
