Diwine wood
Roberto Voerzio winery | La Morra, Italy
A quality choice for a quality wine. Roberto Voerzio knows it well, he’s one of the greatest Barolo productors, the only Italian who was rated 100/100, by the American magazine “Wine Spectator”, the most important one in this field, four times. What wood could he choose for the wine-tasting room if not Fiemme Tremila oak?
We are in La Morra, a little town in Langhe near Cuneo, at an altitude of 540 m. Roberto Voerzio’s winery is right above a hill with a 360° view over vines. For his tasting room he chose the oak Fior di Bronzo, he chose different measurements to give a touch of originality. The place, more or less 280 sqm, is the imagine Mr. Voerzio wants to give to his clients. In here he welcomes business men, buyers, journalists, guests, but also simple enthusiasts.
The wood, of an incredible beauty, is basically everywhere: it covers the tasting room, the two offices nearby and the two bathrooms characterized by a patchwork realized with enamelled lava of Etna.
Once known that Fiemme Tremila is the leader in the field of biocompatible floors, uses an absolutely natural oiling system, that the floor is not only beautiful, but durable and easy cleanable, there was no more doubts.
