A bright shapes-game
Designed by arch. Hervè PerinMercato vecchio di Motebelluna, Italy
Hervè Perin, the architect, used the higher part of Montebelluna to establish the direction of the big building blocks of which the house is composed.
The volumes, marked by different colours and materials, fit harmoniously with one another and with the landscape; some overhang while others are on the ground or sloping pillars. A wall that turns into a pitched roof encloses it all.
Inside, the wood floor Riflesso from the Boschi di Fiemme collection, with knotty and planed oak boards in different sizes, covers most of the surface, except for the bathrooms. Before the large windows, the floor seems to leap towards the outside space, joining the surrounding nature, thanks to its hues.
The steps of the metallic white-painted stair, linking the ground and first floors, feature the same wood.
